India’s vision and roadmap for electric vehicles

India is rapidly positioning itself as a global manufacturing hub for electric vehicles (EVs) under the 'Make in India' initiative. To catalyze this transformation, the government has launched major programs such as FAME India and PLI schemes, aimed at boosting local EV production and fostering a sustainable mobility ecosystem.

As part of the “EVS Live!” platform, Messe Muenchen India, in collaboration with WriteCanvas as Knowledge Partner, presented the 3rd edition of the e-Mobility Conference: “Silicon to Mobility: EVs’ Quantum Leap” at electronica India 2025.

This theme captures the full technological value chain that powers the EV revolution — from advanced semiconductors (“silicon”) to vehicle electronics, battery systems, power management, AI integration, and ultimately to end-user mobility solutions.

The conference brings together thought leaders, industry pioneers, and technology experts on a single platform to deliberate and collaborate on key topics.
