The demand for electronics products in India is expected to reach USD 400 billion by 2020. ‘Make in India’ is an initiative by the Indian government to encourage international companies to manufacture their products in India. Under this initiative, various schemes have been announced to support the electronics manufacturing ecosystem in end user segments as well as electronic components and design.

I am pleased to inform that CII in association with Messe Muenchen India is organizing a conference on mobile manufacturing.
In the era of digital transformation, mobiles, especially smartphones, are playing a prominent role and are constantly pushing manufacturing technology at a dramatic pace. Mobile devices is one of the key segments where India is expected to see more growth in terms of local value addition and it will serve as the front runner for the country’s economic development.
The conference will expect over 150 participants and will offer focused sessions on opportunities and challenges in the industry, the country’s research and innovation eco system and new technologies.
