Advantage India summit

“Positioning India as the global hub for Electronic Systems Design and Manufacturing (ESDM)”

The demand for electronics products in India is expected to reach US$ 400 billion by 2020. ‘Make in India’ is an initiative by the Indian government to encourage international companies to manufacture their products in India. Under this initiative, various schemes have been announced to support the electronics manufacturing ecosystem in end user segments as well as electronic components and design.

Organized by Messe München India, the Advantage India summit is an investor forum for the Electronic System Design and Manufacturing segment.

India is projected to become the 3rd largest manufacturer of automobiles in the world after US and China by 2020. The one-day e-Automotive conference will focus on providing the strategic focal point for the Indian automotive electronics stakeholders to collaborate on a unified platform and deliberate the auto electronics progression. The topic will also be presented in the exhibition halls at the e-Automotive pavilion and e-Automotive innovation zone.

Jointly organized by ELCINA and Messe München India, as an investor forum in the Electronic System Design & Manufacturing segment, the CEO Forum took place for the very first time at electronica India 2016 and brought together states representatives and delegates looking for new business opportunities across India. About five Indian states including Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Jharkhand, Odisha and Rajasthan participated in the CEO Forum and discussed lucrative investment opportunities for domestic and international electronic manufacturing companies.
